South Stream Confirms First Offshore Section Commissioning by End 2015
South Stream confirmed its timetable for the first offshore line of the pipeline, expecting the commissioning by the end of 2015.
According to a note released on Wednesday, the Gazprom Management Committee Chairman Alexey Miller participated to a meeting of the South Stream Transport BV Board of Directors.
On the occasion of the meeting, Gazprom Export and South Stream Transport BV signed a Gas Transmission Agreement. The note does not specify the content of the agreement.
The offshore section of the South Stream will connect the Russkaya compressor station to the Bulgarian coast, with 900 km pipeline under the Black Sea.
According to the plans, the first part of the offshore gas pipeline is to be commissioned in late 2015.
