Petronas ships 1st cargo from PFLNG Dua
Malaysian state-run Petronas March 25 said it has become the first energy company to produce LNG from two floating facilities following the first cargo delivery by PFLNG Dua. The cargo was loaded onto the Seri Camar LNG carrier on March 24 for shipment to Thailand.
The facility is capable of reaching gas fields in water depths up to 1,500 m and producing 1.5mn metric tons/year of LNG. The floater is currently located at Block H Rotan gas field located 140 km offshore Sabah. It achieved first LNG production last month.
