Nabucco Delayed Again?

A leading shareholder in the EU backed Nabucco pipeline project has made a statement indicating that the pipeline may be further delayed

Gerhard Roiss, the chief executive of OMV told the Austria Press Agency that first gas supplies would flow through Nabucco in 2018 and that this "was the latest information which we have.”

The statement marks another delay in the project, coming less than six months after the developing consortium had revised its timetable and said that gas deliveries would commence in 2017.
