Malta Hires Reganosa
Spain’s Reganosa said January 16 it has been awarded a contract for operation and maintenance of ElectroGas Malta’s Delimara regasification plant.
The operation and maintenance contract was signed by ElectroGas and Reganosa's Maltese subsidiary, called Reganosa Malta, at the end of 2016.
Electrogas Malta is a three-way consortium of Germany's Siemens, Socar Trading and privately-owned Maltese joint venture GEM Holdings that has developed a new gas-fired power plant in Malta served by a floating import facility that received its first LNG January 11.

Reganosa owns and operates the 3.6bn m3/yr Ferrol LNG terminal in northwest Spain that opened in 2007. The company and terminal three months ago hosted the 2016 plenary meeting of Gas LNG Europe (GLE), the association representing European LNG terminal operators.
In 2015 Reganosa established subsidiary Reganosa Servicios to offer studies, project design, consultancy, engineering and management of gas infrastructure to third-parties, which last year took part in projects developed in four continents, participating in all phases of the projects, from its feasibility study to its management in the commercial operation phase and in all types of gas infrastructure.
