Iran's ICOFC's Gas Output Stands at 301 mcm

Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) has achieved production of 301 million cubic meters (mcm) of gas per day, two mcm per day above its assigned target, said Managing director Mehdi Fakour.

Two mcm/d is big enough to meet half of the daily gas needs of Yazad province and is a good contribution to gas supply during cold snap, ICOFC’s chief told Shana news agency.  

Fakour further said that ICOFC has succeeded in producing the highest level of gas in the country for two years in a row, Shana reports.  

The company as one of five subsidiaries of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and currently is in charge of 14 gas fields and 10 oil fields.
