First Gas from Empire's Red Gully Facility Within Days

Empire Oil and Gas expects first gas from its Red Gully Gas and Condensate Processing Facility within next few days.

First gas will be delivered into the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP) to Alcoa of Australia with condensate haulage to the BP Oil Refinery in Kwinana.

Empire said the Red Gully-1 and Gingin West-1 wellheads have been serviced and are fully operational after specialist work was completed.

Schlumberger slickline operations today are advanced to remove completion prongs from both wells to introduce gas into the Facility. Once this is done, there will be an initial ‘flow-through’ into a bypass pipe for 30 minutes from Empire’s Export Pipeline before gas entry into the DBNGP.

Red Gully Processing Facility is located near Gingin Western Australia. The processing facility consists of the development of two on-shore wells Gingin West-1 and Red Gully-1.
