Bulgaria Halts Gas Flows to Greece after Pipe Rupture
A pipeline in southwest Bulgaria that transits Russian gas to Greece has halted flows after a rupture, Bulgaria's gas grid operator Bulgartransgaz said on July 27.
The rupture occurred at 07:56 near the village of Kulata.
"The section has been cut off and all actions required for the urgent repair works and restoration of the natural gas transport to Greece have been made. No people suffered any injuries," Bulgartransgaz said. "Gas network users will be informed in due time of the restoration of gas supply.
