Daily Times: World Bank Gas Flare-Out Initiative Absurd, Unacceptable – ERA/FoEN (Nigeria)

The Environmental Rights Action/Friends of the Earth Nigeria (ERA/FoEN) has urged the Federal Government to be wary of a World Bank initiative to stop gas flaring by the year 2030 insisting the scheme, if endorsed by the government, will legitimize continued flaring by Shell and other oil corporations operating in the Niger Delta.
