Wood Group CEO retires
The CEO of UK oil and gas engineering provider Wood Group, Robin Watson, has decided to retire, the company said on April 20.
Watson, aged 55, will remain in his role until a successor is found, Wood said. He was appointed as CEO in January 2016, three years after joining Wood's board. He also served as chief operating officer.

In a statement, Watson noted that when he joined the business, it was largely focused on the North Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, and was almost entirely an upstream services business.
"I reflect with pride on the business we have now and the opportunities we continue to unlock in some very exciting and relevant energy markets: carbon capture, hydrogen, bio-refining, minerals processing, solar and wind energy – all alongside our well-established conventional energy business, helping our clients on their own transition journey," he said.
