WhiteWater, Cheniere in JV for Texas pipeline
WhiteWater Midstream said September 19 it had executed a joint venture agreement with Cheniere Energy to move forward with the ADCC Pipeline, a joint venture project that will connect WhiteWater’s Whistler Pipeline in South Texas to Cheniere’s Corpus Christi Liquefaction (CCL) Project.
The 42-inch pipeline will extend 43 miles from Whistler’s southern terminus at the Williams Transco meter station near Aqua Dulce, Texas to CCL. It is designed to carry 1.7bn ft3/day of natural gas, expandable to 2.5bn ft3/day, and is expected to be in service in 2024, pending the receipt of regulatory and other approvals.

ADCC will give Cheniere yet another connection to North American natural gas supplies to feed its growing liquefaction capacity at CCL. The existing Cheniere Corpus Christi Pipeline connects CCL to five intrastate and interstate pipeline systems, providing about 2.75bn ft3/day of capacity.
Whistler Pipeline is a 450-mile, 42-inch intrastate pipeline owned by a consortium that includes MPLX LP, WhiteWater and a joint venture between Stonepeak and West Texas Gas.
