Vision RNG plans Kentucky landfill project

US renewable natural gas (RNG) developer Vision RNG said December 15 it had entered into an agreement with Laurel Ridge Landfill in Kentucky to use 1,800 ft3/minute of landfill gas to produce 450,000 mnBtu/year of RNG.

Construction is set to be completed in Q4 2024, with the RNG to be delivered into a nearby natural gas transmission pipeline for use by various customers for transportation and other sustainability purposes.

Laurel Ridge is a subsidiary of Waste Connections, an integrated solid waste services company serving more than 8mn customers across 43 US states and six Canadian provinces.
