Uztransgaz to Begin Gas Supplies to China From April

Uztransgaz is expected to begin supplying natural gas to PetroChina from April 1 via the Central Asian pipeline, media reports said Friday.

Meanwhile, reports also suggest that Central Asia gas pipeline has transported over 20 billion cubic meters of gas from Central Asia to China since its launch till 7 January 2012.

The gas pipeline delivered gas to 16 Chinese provinces in 2010 and number of provinces rose to 22 in 2011.
