Neftegaz: Ukraine Aims To Increase Gas Production Through 2015
In the Black Sea, Ukraine’s Chornomornaftogaz is finalizing development of the Shtormove deposit and is also actively commissioning the Odeske gas field, the Black Sea Association of National News Agencies reported today.
The state-owned company has developed the Arkhanhelske and Holitsynske fields in the past 2 years. These developments have increased its natural gas production for the first 9 months of this year on the Black Sea shelf by 14.7%, year over year. The company's shelf production is expected to reach 120 million m³ this year and 620 million m³ next year. The company’s total gas production is estimated to reach 1.65 billion m3 next year.
Through 2015, Chornomornaftogaz is planning to develop seven new fields, re-equip two existing fields, and triple its total production from 1.056 Bcm last year to 3 Bcm in 2015. MORE
