UK Service Firm Wins Job at Myanmar Gas Project

UK engineering and project management services provider Penspen said on June 7 it had won a contract from an unnamed oil and gas operator to carry out an engineering study at an offshore gas project in Myanmar. 

Under the award, Penspen will undertake a feasibility study and preliminary engineering for the modification of redundant drilling fuel tanks into condensate storage tanks. The scope of work includes 3D modelling, mechanical integrity checks and a review of safety, existing designs and lighting.
