Transerv Energy Plans Aggressive Expansion in Canada
Australia based Transerv Energy is planning to embark on an extensive drilling program across its prospective Canadian acreage, targeting unconventional and conventional oil and gas prospects.
The drilling campaign planned for the second half of 2012.
During the past year, the company has built a land holding of more than 180,500 gross acres in the country, providing exposure to the Duvernay Shale, Rock Creek, Montney, Nordegg and Mannville unconventional resource oil plays.
Transerv’s interests in Canada feature proven conventional and emerging unconventional plays. The planned drilling programs will evaluate unconventional resource plays on all of the company’s Canadian assets, and conventional well re-entries on the Carnaby assets.
