TotalEnergies eyes Polish biogas player

France's TotalEnergies has applied to take over a Polish biogas-fired power plant owner Polska Grupa Biogazowa, Money Poland reported on December 28.

Polska Grupa Biogazowa owns 15 biogas-fuelled combined heat and power plants and two solar power farms in Poland. TotalEnergies has applied to Poland's antitrust regulator UOKiK to take over the company.

TotalEnergies has biogas operations in Belgium, France, Germany, India, the Netherlands and the US.
