Tokyo Gas, Petrovietnam to Cooperate in Vietnamese LNG Sector

Tokyo Gas Co. Ltd and Petrovietnam Gas plan to cooperation on the development of the LNG infrastructure in Vietnam.

The two companies are expected to build LNG receiving terminal in response to soaring demand for energy in areas such as electricity and industrial use.

In addition to development of infrastructure, such as LNG receiving terminals and pipelines in Vietnam, procurement of LNG and the development of downstream natural gas demand  will also be an important area of activity, a statement by Tokyo Gas said.
