Tokyo Gas Inks Carbon Neutral City Gas Deal
Tokyo Gas has signed an agreement to supply carbon-neutral city gas to Yakult Honsha Central Research Laboratory, it said on February 8.
Under this agreement, all city gas supplied to the Yakult Honsha Central Research Institute will be switched to carbon-neutral supplies for five years from April 2021. Tokyo Gas said this was the first time it had agreed to supply carbon-neutral city gas to the beverage industry.

We will continue to actively work to curb greenhouse gas emissions and strive to realise a low-carbon society,” it said.
