Three Phases of South Pars to Come On Stream Later This Year

Three phases of Iran’s South Pars gas field will be end of the current Iranian calendar which ends on March 20, 2013. The three phases to be inaugurated are 15, 16 and 12, Pars Oil and Gas Company’s chief Mousa Souri was quoted as saying by Mehr News Agency.

Combined gas output of these three phases is likely to be 25 million cubic meters.

Oil Minister Rostam Qasemi has ordered all the contractors of the South Pars gas field development projects to work round the clock in three shifts to complete development of all phases, especially the phases 12, 15, 16, 17 and 18, the report said.

The South Pars gas field is shared by Iran and Qatar.
