TGE finishes mechanical work at China’s Huizhou LNG terminal
TGE Gas Engineering on February 8 announced the mechanical completion of the engineering, procurement, and construction work at Guangdong Energy's Huizhou LNG receiving terminal in Guangdong Province, China.
The project, which includes the construction of three 200,000 m³ LNG storage tanks along with related facilities, achieved mechanical completion 20 days earlier than contractually initiated.
The Huizhou LNG receiving terminal is designed to facilitate the loading and unloading of LNG ships ranging from 80,000 to 266,000 m³ in size.
With a maximum annual capacity for receiving liquefied natural gas set at 6.1mn tonnes, the terminal is poised to become operational by mid-2024, TGE said.
Guangdong Energy initiated the construction of the Huizhou LNG terminal in July 2021.
