TechnipFMC CFO Resigns, Replacement Named
London-headquartered services group TechnipFMC announced on January 12 that its CFO Maryann Mannen had resigned and would be replaced by Alf Melin, who has been with the company since 1995.
Mannen has held the post since 2017. Previously she was CFO at FMC Technologies before its merger with Technip. She will go on to serve as CFO and executive vice president at US company Marathon Petroleum beginning on January 25, where she will succeed Donald Templin, who is retiring.

Melin, who has held multiple leadership positions at TechnipFMC in finance, treasury and operations, is the company's current senior vice president for financial operations. He will also take on the new role on January 25. TechnipFMC CEO Doug Pferdehirt said Melin had "made significant contributions in the development of the company's current finance organisation, making him a natural successor."
Mannen's decision to leave TechnipFMC comes as the group prepares to split itself into two independent companies. Technip Energies is due to handle engineering and construction, while the remainder of TechnipFMC will provide integrated technology and services. The separation plan was put on hold in March last year after the oil price crash, but TechnipFMC revealed on January 7 that the process was back on track.
