All Africa: Tanzania - New Law to Enable Locals Invest in Gas Sector

A new law on gas and oil will enable local individuals and companies to invest in the sector through partnership. The remarks were made yesterday by experts in the gas and oil industries during a one-day seminar at the Bunge grounds.

The seminar aimed at educating Members of Parliament (MPs) on the importance of the law and how it will protect and ensure the natural resource benefits local Tanzanians.
