All Africa: Tanzania - Gas Economy to Boost Growth, Living Standards

Gas discovery is expected to boost the growth of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) tremendously to the extent of enabling Tanzania to be among the middle income countries within the next ten years.

A senior researcher from the Centre for Global Development (CGD), Mr Mujobu Moyo, said controls and proper management of revenue from gas will foretell the future of the country.
