Tamar Partners in Talks With Gazprom for LNG Sales

The Tamar partners have announced the signing of a non-binding letter of intent to sell liquefied gas to Gazprom Marketing & Trading Switzerland, a subsidiary of Gazprom Marketing & Trading Ltd.

As per the agreement, the price of gas will be set according to the price of natural gas in Asia.

In November last year, the partners signed an agreement with South Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering to develop Tamar using a floating liquefaction vessel.

The Tamar gas field has estimated reserves of 9.1 trillion cubic feet of gas.
