Subsea 7 bags BP contract offshore Trinidad
BP has granted a pipeline development contract to Subsea 7 for a near-shore duct at the offshore TOPR gas project in Trinidad and Tobago, Subsea 7 announced on May 11.
The commission will see a 96km, 12-inch pipeline installed in waters 280 ft deep, along with an associated shore approach and diver tie-in spools. Subsea 7 said the contract was valued at between $50mn and $150mn.

It has commenced front-end engineering and design work on the pipeline and expects to start undertaking the EPCI remit later this month.
Subsea 7 vice president for the US Craig Broussard said: "We are honoured to have been selected for the fast-track delivery of the TOPR project and we look forward to continuing our collaborative relationship with BP.”
