“As of today, we have no written text to inform us the South Stream [gas pipeline project] has been terminated; the pipes are in Varna and Burgas […],” said Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, speaking during a conference themed “Energy security and energy infrastructure in Southeast Europe”, FOCUS News Agency reported.
