South Korea's SK E&S to Import LNG from Indonesia
SK E&S Co., South Korea's leading city gas provider, has signed a deal with a Chevron-led consortium to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) from offshore East Kalimantan in Indonesia, Yonhap News Agency reported citing industry sources.
The company intends to import 1.5 million tons of LNG per year to generate electricity in its LNG power plant in Gwangyang, about 390 kilometers south of Seoul, Yonhap said.
