Sinopec's southwest branch hikes gas output by 10%
Sinopec’s southwest branch has produced 5.12bn m3 of natural gas from January 1 to August 8, up 10% year/year, the Chinese state-run company said on August 10.
The company said that it strengthened the management of the Yuanba gas field and made every effort to achieve stable production in western Sichuan.
The company’s southwest branch, based in Chengdu, in the Sichuan province, is engaged in oil and gas exploration, marketing and other related businesses in southwest China. Its main areas of exploration and production are the provinces of Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi.
