Sinopec's Shunbei field passes milestone
Sinopec-operated Shunbei oil and gas field in Xinjiang has produced over 1bn m3 of natural gas since it became operational in 2016, the Chinese state-run company said on June 23.
Sinopec said that the Shunbei oil and gas field has become an important part of its portfolio. It has produced over 3mn metric tons of crude oil since 2016.

The company has drilled more than 80 wells in the field. In October last year, Shunbei 53-2H was drilled to a depth of 8,874 m, making it the deepest directional well on land in Asia, Sinopec said.
