Shana: Gazprom Says Keen to Invest in Iran Gas Industry
TEHRAN, May 31 (Shana) -- Russian Gazprom Company declared interest to invest in Iran gas industry, Mojtaba Sheikh Bahaei, a deputy head of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) said.
The official referred to the Gazprom role in providing Europe energy needs and said the company has also good experience in field of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

He said that the Iranian and Russian sides have agreed to continue the talks on ways of decrease of gas consumption for home usages and also ways of monitoring the gas stations and other facilities in the next meeting to be held in Russia.
Eleven topics including Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), repair and maintenance system of Gas Turbo Compressors, Turbine Testing Lab, leak detection of gas transformation pipelines’ new technologies were discussed in the meeting between Iranian and Russian sides.
Public Joint Stock Company Gazprom is a large Russian company founded in 1989, which carries on the business of extraction, production, transport, and sale of natural gas.
