CNN: Poland's Shale Gas Potential

Will Poland be a major player in Europe’s lucrative natural gas market and loosen Russia’s grip?  In an effort to attain energy security and expand its energy diversity, jobs and growth, the country looks to tap shale gas.

Chevron has joined both local and international energy firms to test drill however it will be 3-5 years before the size of reserves are actually known.    Chevron says there is no surprise there is confusion in Poland as there is a lot less information in Poland, and in Europe in general.
