San Leon/Talisman Spud on Gdansk-W Concession

San Leon Energy has spuded its Lewino 1G2 well on the Gdansk-W concession, which is operated by Talisman Energy Poland.

The well in the Baltic basin in northern Poland is targeting unconventional shale gas in the Lower Silurian, Ordovician and Upper Cambrian.

This is the first of a three well programme in the Baltic Basin with the partners scheduled to drill the Braniewo concession in October concession and Szczawo concession in December.
