Sputnik: Russia, Serbia May Sign Contract on Underground Gas Depot Expansion

An agreement between Moscow and Belgrade to expand the Banatski Dvor underground gas storage facility in Serbia may be signed by the end of 2015, the Serbian ambassador to Russia said Tuesday.

Terzic observed that a corresponding memorandum on the doubling of Banatski Dvor's capacity to potentially store up to 1 billion cubic meters of natural gas was signed during a recent visit by Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic to Russia.
