Russia the Most Reliable Gas Supplier for the EU

An article in Voice of Russia suggests that Europeans are finally accepting that Russia's stable gas supplies may add significantly to the energy security and economic development of the EU.

It seems that diversification of supplies-leaning Europeans have finally realized the fact that it is Russia that remains the most reliable gas supplier for the EU.

The article states that a combination of factors including the Arab Spring, the Fukushima nuclear disaster and the hopelessly delayed Nabucco gas pipeline project, have led many EU countries to signal their readiness to build up energy ties with Moscow on a long-term basis.
