Pluto LNG Operating at 65% Capacity
Woodside Petroleum said Monday that its Pluto liquefied natural gas terminal (LNG) is operating at three times the expected capacity.
The company achieved an overall system utilisation of 65 per cent so far in May against an expectation of 20 per cent, Woodside said.
The $15 billion Pluto LNG began production last month and has shipped two cargoes to customers in Asia. Woodside expects Pluto to contribute between 17 million and 21m barrels of oil equivalent in the year to December 31.
