Petronas resumes full ops at Bintulu LNG

Petronas on May 23 announced that its subsidiary, Malaysia LNG, has resumed full operations at the Petronas LNG Complex (PLC) in Bintulu. This follows a power loss incident that occurred on May 10. Before the incident, the facility was functioning at optimal efficiency.

Petronas stated that start-up efforts began on May 11, and initial operations resumed on the same day. As of May 19, the plant has fully resumed normal operations.

The Petronas LNG Complex consists of nine LNG trains with a total capacity of 29.3mn tonnes/year.
