Parkmead brings new Dutch gas field online
London-listed Parkmead announced on April 6 the start of gas flow at the LDS-01 gas discovery in the Netherlands.
LDS-01 was drilled around the end of last year and the well was tied into the neighbouring gas production infrastructure within a few weeks.

The fast turnaround, Parkmead said, demonstrated "the operational efficiency of Parkmead's low-cost assets onshore the Netherlands, where operating costs are less than $9 per barrel equivalent."
The new find is in its initial clean-up period, and early flow rates indicate that Parkmead will gain from increased production.
