Paris is to host the Turkmen Energy Investment Forum (TEIF 2024)
Senior government ministers representing Turkmenistan's oil & gas, energy, construction, transport & communication sectors will present Turkmenistan's new investment opportunities at the Forum. Confirmed international speakers include Haitham Al-Ghais - Secretary General of OPEC; Tatiana Molchean - UN Deputy Secretary General and Executive Secretary of the UNECE; Li Yalan - President of the International Gas Union; Valerie Ducrot - Executive Director of the Global Gas Center (GGC); Julien Pouget – Senior Vice President of Renewable Division of TotalEnergies; Ali Rashid Al Jarwan – CEO of Dragon Oil; Tim Gould - Chief Energy Economist of International Energy Agency (IEA) and many others. After the successful Turkmen Energy Investment Forum held in Dubai last April, which resulted in the recent signings of important MoUs to attract UAE's investments in Turkmenistan's energy sector, the organizers are confident that TEIF 2024 in Paris will pave the way for attracting European and US investments.
As the world embarks on a massive energy transition, so is Turkmenistan changing. The country has so much to offer, from hosting the world's largest onshore gas field - Galkynysh - to world-class natural conditions for developing solar and wind power. The vast resource potential of Turkmenistan will be the focus of the upcoming Forum in Paris, where the leading national energy companies will actively seek foreign direct investment in abundant natural resources and address the upstream, midstream, and downstream opportunities in Turkmenistan's rapidly developing energy sector.
