Oz APA Appoints Adam Watson as CFO

Australian gas infrastructure firm APA group on August 12 announced that Adam Watson has been appointed APA’s CFO. Watson will replace Peter Fredricson and will join around the middle of November 2020.

Watson is currently the CFO for Transurban group and has held this role since 2014. Prior to that role, he was CFO for Australian Pacific Airports Corporation (Melbourne Airport) for over two years and he has also held senior financial roles in BlueScope Steel, based in Melbourne, the US and China, APA said.

APA operates 15,000 km of natural gas pipelines connecting 1.4mn Australian homes and businesses. It also has interests in gas storage facilities, gas-fired power stations and renewable energy generation.
