Oman LNG signs LNG supply deal with Jera
Oman LNG has signed a 10-year agreement to supply LNG to Japan's leading utility company Jera, it announced on social media site X on April 16.
The state-owned LNG producer will supply Jera with 0.8mn tonnes/year of LNG starting in 2025.
Oman LNG is primarily owned by the government of Oman with a 51% stake, alongside ownership shares held by Shell (30%), Total (5.4%), Kogas (5%), and various Japanese and Omani firms holding stakes under 3%.
