Pakistan's OGDCL starts oil, gas production from Nashpa-11 in KP
Pakistan's Oil & Gas Development Company (OGDCL) on September 13 announced the start of oil and gas production from the Nashpa-11 well in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.
The well is located in the Hangu district of KP and was drilled to a depth of 4,485 m. It is currently producing 830 barrels/day of oil and 1mn ft3/day of natural gas.
Nashpa-11 has been connected to the OGDCL Nashpa plant through a 1.8-km flow line, and the gas is being injected into the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines network.
OGDCL is the operator of the well, holding a 56.45% stake. The other partners in the project are Pakistan Petroleum (28.55%) and Government Holding Private (15%).
