NuEnergy Gas Defines Indonesia Gas Resources
NuEnergy Gas is moving to convert its newly defined Contingent Resources for its Muara Enim production sharing contract in Sumatra into gas Reserves, Proactive Investors has reported.
The independent resource certification RPS Energy Consultants estimates that the field holds a 3C Contingent Resource of 97.5 billion cubic feet of gas, 2C Resource of 2.1Bcf and a 1C Resource of 2.1Bcf.
With Contingent Resources in place and first gas sales substantially complete, the company will now work towards its goal of being a gas seller this year, Proactive Investors said.
NuEnergy expects to restart pilot production in April 2013.
It will also carry out further appraisal and development drilling to show the viability and strategic value of its coal seam gas resources in Indonesia.
