Novatek 1H Production Down, Sales Up

Production was down, but gas sales increased for Novatek in first half 2017, according to preliminary figures released July 10.

Russian independent Novatek said its 1H2017 marketable hydrocarbons production of 252.3mn was down by 7.8% year on year, it said July 10.

The 1H2017 figure included 31.04bn m³natural gas (down 8%) and 5.89mn tons of liquids (gas condensate and crude oil).

However, it said that its preliminary natural gas sales volumes of 33.13bn m³was 4.1% higher than in 1H2016.
