Norwegian gas output beats forecast in Nov

 Norwegian natural gas production averaged 337.9mn m3/day in November, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) reported on December 21, beating the agency's forecast by 2.2%.

Output was down 0.1% month on month but up 5.4% year on year, the NPD said. Production is likely to dip next month, due to an unplanned outage at Troll, Norway's largest gas field.

Norwegian production of oil and other petroleum liquids averaged 1.729mn barrels/day in November, or 5.1% below the forecast, down 4.9% month on month and down 0.2% year on year. Operations at the country's largest oilfield Johan Sverdrup were disrupted in mid-November after a power glitch.
