Norway Output Down in May

Technical problems and maintenance led to a drop in oil and gas output from Norway in May, the offshore regulator Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said June 20. Total gas sales for the month were 9.9bn m³, which is down by 100mn m³ on April and, for the first time this year, down too – by 220mn m³ – against the forecast.

So far this year, Norwegian gas output stands at 51.92bn m³. That is down from the forecast 51.98bn m³, but up from the 51.44bn m³ produced in January-May 2018.
