Nord Stream Goes Offline for Maintenance

Both strings of the Nord Stream gas pipeline were shut down for scheduled maintenance on July 14 and will not resume gas flows until July 26, according to a message on its operator's website.

The annual maintenance on the pipeline, which carries Russian gas to Germany, was coordinated with Nord Stream's upstream and downstream partners, the company said.

Russia's Gazprom has a 51% interest in Nord Stream, while Germany's Wintershall Dea and E.ON each have shares of 15.5%, and the Netherlands' Gasunie and France's Engie, stakes of 9% apiece.
