National Mirror: Reps Query Nigeria’s Absence at Zero Gas Flaring Conference
[The] House of Representatives yesterday, queried the country’s [Nigeria's] conspicuous absence at the zero routine gas flaring initiative in Washington D C, United States of America.
The lawmakers may also ask the Federal Government to go ahead and sign the treaty to end gas flaring by 2030.
In a motion brought by Mr. Uchechuku Nnam- Obi and 13 others, titled: “Deploring Nigeria’s absence at the zero routine gas flaring initiative in Washington D C, United States of America”, the lawmakers noted with dismay Nigeria’s absence at such all important international event that would benefit the country.
