The Cable: Buhari to Continue With Privatisation of Energy, Oil and Gas

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday said his administration will continue with privatisation of key sectors of the economy.

He said the privatisation exercise will be expanded to include the nation’s aviation, telecommunication, energy, gas, solid minerals, health, and infrastructure development sectors.

He was speaking in Washington during a business forum organised by the United States Chamber of Commerce and The Corporate Council on Africa.

“It is my intention to create the necessary environment for future investment in Nigeria,” he said.
