Neptune finishes installing Seagull manifold
Neptune Energy announced on November 25 that it had finished installing the manifold and umbilical for the Seagull project in the UK central North Sea.
Construction was undertaken by engineering group TechnipFMC. It installed a 250-te manifold, a pull-in and a 17-km control umbilical between the BP-operated ETAP platform and the manifold. It also put in place a wye structure and undertook associated operations.

Seagull is on track for launch in late 2021 and will flow 50,000 barrels of oil equivalent/day at full capacity. Work began on its subsea infrastructure in September 2020 and drilling commenced in January this year.
Neptune operates the high-pressure, high temperature field with a 35% interest, while BP has 50% and Japex has 15%. The partners took a final investment decision on development in March 2019.
