BP, Golar LNG Agree 11-Month Delay at Tortue
BP has agreed with shipowner Golar LNG on an 11-month delay for the hook-up of the converted Gimi floating LNG vessel, which will be used to develop the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) project off Mauritania and Senegal, Golar LNG said on October 1.

BP leads a consortium developing GTA that also includes Texas-based Kosmos, Senegal's Petrosen and Mauritania's SMPHM.

They took a final investment decision (FID) on the project's first phase, which will produce 2.5mn metric tons/yr of LNG, in December 2018.
Gazprom's Exports Dip in September
After peaking in August, Gazprom’s flows were down 4.2% in September and down 3.8% on September 2019.

Gazprom used, in September, all routes less – except TurkStream which was stable.

Aker BP Cleared to Start Aerfugl Phase 1
Norwegian authorities have approved the start-up of the first phase of Aker BP's Aerfugl gas and condensate field, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) said.
- Aker BP operates Aerfugl with a 23.8% stake, with its partners comprising Norway's Equinor, Germany's Wintershall Dea and Poland's PGNiG.
- The second phase is due to start up fully in 2023, although one of its wells was brought online in April this year.
Indian Oil to Deploy 50 Hydrogen-CNG Buses
State-run Indian Oil Corporation plans to deploy 50 buses using hydrogen-enriched compressed natural gas (HCNG) as fuel on the roads of Delhi in the coming days, company chairman Shrikant Madhav Vaidya said on October 1.
- The Indian government permitted the use of HCNG as an automobile fuel earlier this week.
